Pride Party Pretty Gay, MSB Bro Reports

ALUMNI SQUARE—Surveying a Village B apartment full of men dancing with other men, pink cosmopolitans, and throbbing club music, Charles York (MSB ’11) declared a party sponsored by GU Pride to be “pretty queer” last Friday night.

“Where’s the fucking keg?” he asked Nicholas Ford (MSB ’12), his self-described “bro,” ignoring a pitcher of a brightly-colored cocktail in front of him. “It would be so gay if I came all the way to Village B and this party didn’t have a keg.”

York, who was accidentally invited on Facebook by Jay Gooding (COL ’11), the Social Chair of GU Pride, and apparently unaware of the party’s sponsor, wondered aloud if the party had a costume theme that he was unaware of because of all the men in tight spandex.

The party was an unlikely stop for York, who had professed his desire to get “ so fucking schwasted” mere hours earlier and was expected at a Club Lacrosse party later in the night.

“Oh, shit, two chicks making out!” he exclaimed to Ford, pointing to two women in the corner of the apartment. “Sweet!”
