I didn’t look at it very long, but I’m certain there’s no black person on your cover.  That’s racist. I’m going to write “RACIST” on your cover in red marker to let people know you’re racist.
— Kid Standing at the Back of a Georgetown NAACP Meeting (COL ‘09)

We beat you to it.

With every passing day, the rights of a minority are further crushed underfoot, and the university does nothing to address this.  Far from it — the university encourages the intolerance of minorities!  What is this crime?  “Midnight Madness.”  Although I have never personally attended the event, it is an obvious mockery of the students on campus who are mentally ill.  Just because the voices in my head tell me to eat Jack the Bulldog, Georgetown thinks it can organize an event to degrade people like me.  Madness is a way of life for some of us; we should be embraced, not made fun of.
— Aaron Johnson / Samuel Perkins / Eric Maxwell (NHS ’10)

Hey, where’s your hate-crime coverage?  This is a pretty important story.
— Trevor Basil (SFS ’08)
