A recent study this year shows that the HIV virus may increase your chances of getting AIDS.  A recent study was conducted by Dr.James Ihavaids together with the help of a large team of his biology students.  The students were injected with the supposedly lethal HIV virus. The test was meant to conclude if in fact there was a significant link between the HIV virus and the AIDS disease. Dr. Ihavaids said that any students who willingly participated in the study would be given an A in his class. The rest of his students were unwilling participates in the test and received mostly B’s and C’s.

In a recent interview, Dr. Ihavaids had this to say about the use of his students in his clinical research. “It’s a competitive place out there and these students need as much hands experience as they can get. Most of the students are glad about the situation as well. They seem less worried about contracting an STD now that they know exactly how get one.” The results of the study were profound. 90% of the test subjects infected with the HIV virus developed AIDS. The other 10% were hospitalized due to infections and could not be included in the results. Dr Ihavaids chose not include them in the results seeing that they could possibly have gotten AIDS from blood transplants rather than the HIV injections. Dr. Ihavaids had these closing words. “Over all I would say the study was an ultimate success.

These results will be critical in the fight against AIDS. Hopefully scores of people will be able to avoid contracting AIDS as a result of this new information.”
