Jeff Gordon (COL ’04) Wins Daytona 500

This past Sunday alumnus Jeff Gordon (COL ’04) won the Daytona 500. Number 24, driving his DuPont Chevrolet was best known at Georgetown for his work with the Chimes. The Rainbow Warrior has won the 500 for the third time in his career. He is also famous for his solos at Chimes night at the Tombs including: Zombie Jamboree and My Girl. Jeff Gordon graduated pre-med last year and now attends UPenn Med School. It’s a wonder how Jeff has time to race and study at such prestigious universities. The Heckler wants to congratulated Gordon, as one of our own, on his recent win. Good luck Jeff, and may you win many more NASCAR events!
