The Georgetown University Bookstore has announced a new line of sex products in order to boost sales. Bill Wagner, managing director, decided this summer that his bookstore had offered virtually every item possible, but nothing that could be used in the bedroom. So now, if you venture to the second floor of the store, behind the shelves for Psychology books, you will find a wall of rather scandalous pieces.

The new “Hoya Family” nipple clamps are expected to cause considerable opposition. Still, Georgetown anal beads for “Him” and “Her” have been selling quite well, but competition is sure to come from the Bulldog leather whip series, out this November. Healy Hall vibrators are sold with GU Jelly, a water-based lubricant.

Though some Hoyas have protested the sale of such stimulating items, Georgetown administrators are content to know that at least the bookstore still does not sell condoms. “That would be pushing it,” says John Fox.
